Before installin IPC + Strobe take care of that electrical parameters of both devices are equal (for example: camera alram out for Eco-Savy IPC can provide 300mA, for Ultra - 1A). So be careful. -

It is a strange thing. If you use config tool from official Dahua site and it doesn't do the update it means you try to update with uncorrect FW. Find a correct FW. Also, are you sure about http port 80? Maybe it was changed? Can you access the device from SmartPSS? -
