I had a lot of issues anyway basically after a lot of scanning around, SSL2 and SSL3 are no longer considered secure therefore smtp providers are no longer supporting them. So if you check the SSL on your email setup it will not work with many SMTP providers. (Why gmail will fail) I tried...
