I lost power to a portion of my network, when the power was restored Blue Iris changed the IP of 2 of the 4 cameras that lost power to the ip of the router and the other 2 cameras to the IP of one of the 2 cameras that was changed to that of the router. I'm rolling back to the previous version...

The i5-4670k actually has a higher passmark score than the i5-6500 so personally I would't hesitate to buy either one.

9 are 3 and 4mp cameras all running between 20 and 30 fps, about half are at full resolution and the other half at 1080p. I keep the console closed unless I need to make changes. 1 is a usb webcam cam connected directly to the computer.

I'm running 10 cameras and my Plex server along ith a couple other programs and my cpu is running at about 35-40%. I think you will be fine.
