Hi, I have a DVR that is connected to a router. I would like to get the stream in real time of a single camera to be post processed. I wondered, is there a way to get a direct access to a camera that is connected to DVR? One more questions, are there known protocols that DVR uses?

why are they based on sensors and not cameras? I think it is price like nayr said... But if it was cheap I would take it (30-40$/month) what do you think guys?

nayr - why to steep? Is it a price issue? privacy can be kept when people are not in their house... to provide "almost a guard" for the "dead times"

More than accurate, after trying more than a few motion detection and suffer from false alarms, I agree with wonder_70, that if someone could be a guard it will be great. What do you think?
