Nevermind, I used the brickfix firmware then flashed the EN firmware from the "custom downgrader" zip and something finally clicked and it's working now. Firmware Version V5.2.5 build 141201 Encoding Version V5.0 build 140714 Should I stick with this version firmware?

I'm not totally sure which firmware version I'm supposed be using...

Yeah I tried updating to the latest firmware for the camera which bricked it. Ok so I just applied the CN firmware from the brickfix.zip that you linked to, which completed successfully. Am I supposed to immediately try to use the tftp updater to flash the whoslooking 5.3.0 to 5.2.5 firmware?

I've been working on un-bricking my DS-2CD2032 for the last few days. I was able to use the "5.30 downgrader - 4 lines" to successfully flash the firmware and now the iVMS-4200 software is showing the device as online and I was able to change the IP from the software and I can ping and telnet...

I'm never able to log in to the camera through browser, I can ping the cam and I can telnet into it (not sure what to do once i'm in though). I haven't modified any of the files directly on the camera. using iVMS 4200 I can modify the camera's IP address, which works and I can ping and telnet...

I have the DS-2CD2032 with a firmare sticker of 5.3.0 tried the tftp updater, the only one that ever shows "system update completed" is the "5.30 downgrader 4 lines" file that I believe you created.
