Hello, Many thanks to Alastair, I managed to update 4 of my cameras: 1 DS-2CD2132F-IS 1 DS-2CD3132-I 2 DS-2CD2732F-IS to version V5.4.5 but I could not install V5.4.41 via tftp. I managed to make this update with IVMS to switch to V5.4.41 without problem. Thank you again for your work

I use Windows 8 with no problem. Have you a digicap.dav file in the same directory as hiktools?

For User99 "hiktools create digicap.dav temp" In the directory " temp " you put the modified files. In the end you get back "temp.dav " that you rename

If I understood well, I copy the directory "string" with "gui_value10.cfg" in my modified app.tar.lzma.

I tried with a firmware Europe which conteint French, I changed the file app.tar.lzma by the one that I modified. The firmware is accepted well by the NVR. The device is good in English but I do not see what it is necessary to change to have French.

My firmware contains only the Chinese and English, thus I think that I have to modify something else more
