I can't recall the model, but I've called preset 95 on some none PTZ cameras. They were just zoom and focus. Was in the same situation as you, the camera interface had no way to switch off the auto focus to manual, on a wim, I called preset 95 and sure enough, it gave another set of menu items...

Have not tried this, but sometimes you can can try calling preset 95 from the camera directly. Doesn't always work, but worth a try.

Thanks...I'll give that a try when it gets darker. I was unable to locate anything IR related within the configuration tab of the camera...but I kept searching and found this. Just under the PTZ function / Control on the Live View Tab. Any idea how each setting effects the IR function? IR...

Running the following firmware. Has anyone had any issues with the IR not working at night? Unable to locate where IR on/off is even located.

Yes, for security. It's a rural area, would take police an hour or more to get there, if not already in the area. I already have a few of the hikvision rebranded 3mp box cameras. Maybe I'll just deploy a few more of those. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Thanks for the comment as well. Trying to cover a house for sale that's over 5000 square feet inside and two story. Currently no one lives in it and no furnishings. Unable to run wires or mount anything. I guess I could just saturate the areas with lots of fixed cameras...but to keep coat...

Thanks for the comments, I'll look into the wired PTZ option.

Looking for suggestions on a wireless PTZ. Able to be used with a Gen IV recorder. Will be using it inside. Will not be able to mount it, so something that can sit on a shelf or counter would be great. Thanks Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
