    Can I use my wireless solar cams with BI?

    I bought a tapo wired security camera with floodlights, have to see about trying that. I run the signal via a pair of CPE510 to make a virtual cable then I could set up a router at the end with static IP and maybe BI can find it, if I have the IP. I want camera's 1000yards away from the house...

    I guess I need to use wired camera's for where I need recording. I don't use cloud anything. It's pretty cool just to be able to see what's on the camera with the phone or ipad. thanks

    I was thinking about the computer solution because I'm a computer nut to start with. I was thinking you wouldn't have to record all the time with the camera's able to wake the system up when it detects motion. Not sure how that works. I don't have a real security threat but it would be nice...
