Holy crap, this actually works! I was Googling for a way to use my extra EZVIZ cams lying around so I can add them as extra camera to OBS (Open BroadCaster Software) and stream to Twitch! I entered the URL for my cam into VLC Media Player and it worked...

Just ordered a 5.2.5 moments ago from the same seller (CCTV CAMERA CHINA) that I got my 5.2.3 from back in January 2015 (which has been working great since Day 1). I will see if there's any noticeable differences in the UI, performance, etc.

I noticed that (and would like to know) too. In fact, a Google search is what brought me to this thread. I've had mine for about a week (from AliExpress) and it has 5.2.3.
