NVR Short Circuit
I would use IPA when turned on and see if any other part may be shorted near that IC. Maybe it is a shorted smd capacitor. The IPA would dry up first at that component. -

Need to check, when I get home. With the old one, (older model. that broke) I have used a splitter, but if I recall on this one, I only have a blue Ethernet cable plugged in. This one does not have the zoom feature, as the old one had, I miss that feature. -
