Hello, I've been trying to flash to the firmware mentioned here using this method but TFTP gets stuck at Completed file transmit and doesn't do anything else.

I think I wasn't doing something correctly initially and may have locked the 2 cameras out by putting in the wrong passwords. the last 2 i hooked up i didn't have to reset at all.

Thanks. I reset them and was able to connect and update to the latest hikvision firmware.

Yeah the price has me thinking of the adage if something is too good to be true it usually is. Then i go on the yoosee app on play store and see most people are saying its spyware junk but if it has onvif maybe i wouldn't use that anyway.

Hey i have the edward signaling 598 transformer on the way and am just curious as to what wiring everyone used? is the 16V 30VA the way to go? or 24V 30VA?

Somewhat discouraging that people are not having much luck with this as someone who just started in trying to get it setup and is considering a transformer to replace the old one. I only paid 50 so it seems like this is worth a try.. isn't anyone on here happy with it?
