my setup has worked well until recently after a couple of blue iris updates, my cameras are not showing video output. at times, I get erratic video output, where I get a video feed then the video signal is lost.

what's mind boggling for me is that when I try to roll-back to a BI version that I know works, now it does not?

I have checked the IP addresses of the cameras and they are correct based off the assigned IP addresses from their proprietary software. these by the way are 4 of 7 cameras that I have which are logitechs.

the other 3 are nest outdoor cameras, which I am still trying to remember how I get the rtsmp link. I'm trying to rule out a change of the "public web address" assigned to the cameras, but still, I think this is not the case as I get erratic video feed, sometimes there is video output, and most often, till just recent, there is none.

I am hoping somebody can shed light into this recent issue of mine or perhaps for someone else and may have come up with an answer or solution that is willing to share.

thank you in advance for your kind help.

Well not a lot of relevant info in your post, but if Logitechs, those cams are not capable of assigning a static ip. So unless yo reserved a dhcp address in your router, the ip will be random on reboot. Don't know anything about nest but sounds like junk as well.

thanks. Logitech cams have static address.

realized Nest wasn't a popular choice much later and had no way to return it back without losing money. so itll have to do for now. thanks for your input anyways.
