Going to switch over from Amcrest to Hikvision POE at the house. Any suggestions on best place to buy in the USA? Seems like all vendors on USA website only sell to installers.

There are lots of options for de-branded hikvision. LTS is one common re-branding.
fourm sponsor Nelly's Security sells re-branded hikvision. There are lots of options. B&H is another.

I don't like hikvison. if you call for help. you have to wait forever. OEM only take less than 5 minutes.

Not US based, but very competitive prices, fast shipping, and many people here have used them w/o an issue.

Hikvision “OEM” is a product with the Hikvision name on it, and Hikvision model number. The “generic” market, is that same product, (still manufactured by Hikvision) but with a different brand name on it, and a generic model number. Some companies even create their own model number. The supplier I use has their own model numbers, but they gave me a spreadsheet that shows their model number, the generic model number, and the official Hik model number. It’s handy to decipher exactly what I have. Also, the generic market is usually cheaper and offers better service
