Just a quick one, can I buy BI for a test on my laptop just to see how it functions and to familiarise myself with it, then transfer it to a designated pc later?

The reason being, I'm just on the hunt for a designated PC and I'd love to have a fiddle about in the meantime.

I'd be buyi g the full version btw, no point buying the $30 offer.

ps, Are there any ongoing fees or is the $60 for 64 cameras a one off charge?

I had no problem transferring BI from and old PC to a different one. There is a “deactivate” button in the settings area. I just deactivated it on the old PC, and there was no problem using the same key on the new PC.

BI does come with a free 14-day trial (no key required), if that helps.

No ongoing fees. The $59 version will go up to 64 cameras but it seems really tricky to get a system that can handle that many!

Thanks for the answer, that's great and I'll just be using a fraction of cameras at possibly 10 or 12.

Can't wait to have a go now:)
