Hi, I got my first Dahua camera (IPC-HDBW4433R-ZS from Alibaba with Chinese hacked firmware 2.621.0000.28.0 2017-09-12) yesterday and first it seemed to work ok. It was talking to my Linux box, but apart first 3 hours I have not got RTSP stream out of the camera. I was playing yesterday with multiple cameras, so I cannot exactly recall what I was doing before this happened, but I just blocked camera's internet traffic and connected it to PoE-switch.

Dahua's own NACL web pluging is able to show video stream, but initialization takes way too long. First NACL says "resource is limited, open video failed", but eventually after ~15 sec video stream appears. Same with all active substreams. VLC player has 5 sec timeout for RTSP stream, but if I try switch to inactive substream (eg. stream 2 on default config), it immediately terminates. I assume this means RTSP connection is working ok, but there is some problem on video stream initialization. Normal RTSP clients do not wait for 10+ sec.

Snapshot address http://admin:***@cam5/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi works ok, but stream address rtsp://admin:***@cam5:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 not.

I have tried all video stream settings, soft reset, hard reset, different power sources and even opened firewall again, but nothing seem to help. Firewall log shows just p2p-connection attempts (destination port 9084), but those are coming all the time, not only when trying init stream. Any ideas what could cause this kind of behaviour or did I just have bad luck with Chinese “quality” product? Is there somewhere better logs available that camera's web interface shows?
