Ds-2cd2t42wd-i5 not connecting

The power went off to our house any my full system went down. Since then, one of my cameras will not come back on. It is a Hikvision ds-2cd2t42wd-i5. On my POE switch, it shows power but no network connection. I tried switching ports on the switch and made sure there were no loose wires. I then looked for it with the SADP tool but it does not show up.

Any ideas?

What is your system. Did you try and hook directly to your computer with a 12VDC supply powering it?

8 Hikvision cameras all powered by a POE switch and recording through Blue Iris on a Dell Computer. I dont think I have any way to power it other than POE.

Plug the camera directly into your POE switch. This eliminates any cabling. If everything is good, then its the cabling from the switch to the camera, probably a connector. If it doesn’t work then either the camera failed or the POE supply within the camera is bad. Obtain a 12VDC supply for a few $$ and connect to the camera power supply input. If the camera works then the POE input is bad. If nothing happens the camer is bad.
