Just hooked up all my cameras at work to nvr yesterday (Sunday), and by the time I got home to test out Hik-Connect at home most of the cameras had gone into ir mode. Video was playing back ok as I noticed the clock incrementing with the osd.

This morning I tried to access the feeds and it just times out. Each time I check a camera it does its progress percentage up to around 80-90% and then just freezes and spits out error 260015, which I believe is a time out error.

Would it be because the internet feed we have at work is pretty sub-standard (being upgraded next week). It is only an ADSL2+ service that gets bogged down due to the line possibly being shared by apartments above us.

Also, could it be because the cameras had switched over to color mode as it is morning, thus increasing the amount of data the work router is trying to send to my mobile with Hik-Connect?

Thanks

Slow internet speed will cause camera connection to time out. As you indicated works at night when black and white and not in color since more data is needed.

Try using LTE rather then WiFi, it should work when viewing the sub streams.
