Hi guys.
Long time reader.. first time posted.

Can someone please advise/confirm if there is a substantial difference between the G0 and G1 platofrms?

I have a bunch of DS-2CD2135F-IS CN cameras with the multi language EN hack applied by the original seller.

You can see its running 5.3.3 below, but curiously I see at the bottom the G0 platform reference.
How is the different (other than CN vs EN) to the G1 platform which seems to be prevalent online now.

DOWNLOAD PORTAL

shows G1 as the platform for DS-2CD2XX5

other than the version numbers and date, are these almost equivalent?

Very old post BUT for me
G1 = Generation 1 Acusense (Classification sent to NVR to interprete)
G2 = Generation 2 Acusense (Classification on Detection)
^There is a HIK PDF that explains the difference

G0 =? Was this not the introduction of there "Motion Detection 2.0"?

And the new standard as the FWD is now end of life...
