Opnsense with Dahua NVR

Hello all,

I am switching from Untangle/Arista to Opnsense. Unfortunately I am having troubles with getting e-mail to work on Opnsense with the Dahua NVR.
I'm sure I have a network setting wrong, but I'm not sure which one so hoping someone has this setup.

I don't think there are any specific settings on Opnsense for emails. Did you put the Dahua NVR on a separate subnet or VLAN using Opnsense? If you created a separate subnet or VLAN on Opnsense, did you create a firewall rule to allow traffic to pass? If its anything like Pfsense, you have to create an allow rule on a new subnet otherwise all traffic going to the WAN will be blocked.

It's been 3 years since I set up the Untangle with the NVR. I'll take a look at the settings and play around with them a bit later tonight.
I'm thinking you're correct that I don't have a firewall rule to allow the traffic (email) to pass.
