When mounting the camera on a wall as the screenshot below, what is the trick to rotate the camera to the right or left if needed without messing up the up or down of the view?

I have it mounted like this and it will work you just have to mess with it. It’s like a ball and socket with a cutout in one spot.

Thank you for the reply, and yes I have been fighting with that darn ball and socket all day... Approximately how far were you able to rotate it one way or another?

Also, when I rotate the cutout to get the camera in the right direction off center, the up/down gets thrown way off :banghead:

Unless you almost completely unscrew it, It is designed to only move like 3 clicks before you start fighting it.

If you need to make a big swing in alignment, it is best to really unscrew the front screw, and maybe even before it is mounted, unscrew the ones on the other side of the bracket to get it in close proximity to the direction you want and then tighten the back ones and install and then move around for final placement.
