Color 4k-x 6mm -- Half view out of focus/Blurry

I would still try a different field of view or physically flip the camera and see if the blurry moves to the left before requesting a refund. Basically confirm it is indeed a defect and not circumstance of the field of view and settings/limitations of the processor chip.

It's on a temporary mount. I could certainly pull that camera down easy enough.

Andy is good to us. I would never chase after him for a refund on something I didn't confirm myself. Especially something as easy as this to confirm.

Good idea, I'll pull it down tomorrow.

There is certainly something wrong with that camera. I have all three focal lengths of 4K-X (2.8, 3.6, and 6mm) and the 6mm is my favorite. Sharpest camera of all the cameras that I have installed at my home: 5442T-ZE, T5449H-ASE-D2, N55DU82, B54IR-S3, Color4M-T, HFW5241E-Z12E, 54IR-AS S3, T5442TM-AS, 4K-X, 4K-T180.

I've had this issue when I've replaced some of the lenses in my cameras with M12 lenses. If the lens is cross-threaded (easy to do as the thread is very fine), the image becomes blurry on one side. Seems like this slipped through quality assurance.

One of my cams is like this. It's a 4K/X refurb with a 2.8mm lens and used as an overview cam so it's not a huge deal. They're absolutely my favourites for overview and of the footage that I've posted, no one has made a comment on the issue.

This is the last clip I'm going to post on this camera. I'll reach out to Andy at the beginning of the new year and see what he thinks. I believe he's vacationing with his family at the moment.

Exposure here is 0-8.3 - Something is certainly not right. I'm at 40 to 45 feet from camera in this clip, right in the optimal focus range of this Camera.
