This is gonna be expensive

Gotta love uninsured drivers — seems there are lots of them around

Sure looks and sounds like an intentional burnout on wet roads that went wrong. I guess it doesn’t really matter much being uninsured.

Was the driver also the owner of the car?
I'm sure it was intentional. I have cars all day long that turn the corner and stay on the gas for like 5-6 blocks. That gas station is the only one that sells 102 octane so we get lots of lead foots. The driver is the brother of the owner. The owner got a new truck and "gave" the car to his brother/driver a few hours before. The car had insurance but only for registered owner

They must do things different in Texas. No such thing that I know of here in NJ. You’re allowed to borrow a car and be covered.

If that title didn’t change hands then that’s a borrowed car.
That's what I thought too since that's how my insurance is. Anyone can drive my car if I give them permission and be covered.

Fred Loya (owners insurance) apparently has a specific policy that excludes everyone but the owner.

Assuming driving with no insurance is illegal in TX I'd be sure to involve LEO.

Gas stuck, huh? Maybe so but looks to me like he was not in the driver's seat as he shopuld have been....no seat belt? :wtf:

He must be related to this guy, at least he did not take off like mine did.

FYI this is what motivated me to get a IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E camera and create my ALPR program. If I had my current setup I might of captured his rear plate.
