I finally installing my camera system. I'm looking for suggestions on cameras as well as the placement of them. I have a horseshoe driveway and I want to put two cameras at the entrance pointing up the driveway towards the house. These would be for license plate recognition. One camera will be near the telephone poles in the first picture and the second will be installed to the right near the bush in the other photo. I'm going to figure out some way to hide the cameras so they don't get stolen. Are these cameras good for what I'm planning to do? What would you recommend? Also, is there a good camera in a turret design as I think it would be easier for me to hide. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Just curious, is there a reason you want them pointing up the driveway towards the house rather than installing them on the house pointing towards the street?

I will have others pointing down the driveway as well but I want to make sure I can capture a plate if they drive in and back out.

Sure, practically straight on.

Oncoming front plates will be trickier than outbound rear plates because of headlights, but doable
