Local Windows admin login (blank for LocalSystem) for BI Install

When I leave it blank, it says “Using LocalSystem account—this is not recommended under Startup, Run as a Windows service.

It’s running fine like that on my other computer.

I thought we were supposed to run this in a LocalSystem Account?

Are you referring to the CPAI service account? If so then I have all of my 3 systems set to start as "Local System Account", and they are all working fine!

If you are referring to the Blue Iris Service Properties, then it needs to be a local user account with administrative permissions

I don't think that it is going to work properly if you are signing into windows using an MS account or a PIN! There is a way to convert the MS or PIN login to windows back to using a local account!

It’s BI. Ok
