I had a biopsy done on the bottom of my foot now it has stitches that come out in two weeks, i have not been able to put much weight on my foot in fear of tearing the stitches and the pain a dermatologist did it and it's only 4 stitches but it is right where your foot contacts the ground.

he did not say to stay off it just try not to tear the stitches and that i will have a difficult time being that my job requires being on my feet and moving all day.

i've never asked for a doctors note and not sure if this qualifies for one.

Well, I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I'd say take a picture of it in the mirror-- and THAT is your "doctor's note"

Call your doctor's office and get that note; it would be absurd that a medical office would resist or hesitate to give you one. Either way, you have proof - your foot; when the office opens up again, kindly demand for the visit / procedure note as well.
