Big vote in the House today.

Basically they’re all going home for the week early without accomplishing anything .. AGAIN.
  • I’ll post details later but mark my word, they are running out the clock on purpose. - 2026 will see Republicans lose the house and Senate.
  • Most of Trumps initiatives and Elons cost savings will not be codified and will have been a waste of time.
  • For the gullible who believed that passing Biden’s CR (exactly the same budget) was necessary and that they’ll fix it in September :lmao:  My god you’re dumb.
  • Trump might settle a few personal scores, but NOTHING is going to fundamentally change.

Have fun reading the heavily redacted Epstein files, and some long (years) drawn out “high visibility” court cases.

We’ve been played, and it will get worse. Much worse.

Commentary:
Republicans dominate election day turnout in Florida
Julia Manchester

Republicans are dominating Election Day turnout in the pair of special congressional races taking place in Florida’s 1st and 6th congressional districts.

According to data from The Hill’s partners at Decision Desk HQ, Election Day turnout from Republicans in the 1st Congressional District is at R+25.9 percent while in the 6th Congressional District it is at R+18.56 percent.

The data is a promising sign for Republicans, particularly in Florida’s 6th District. Democrat Josh Weil has outperformed Republican Randy Fine in fundraising and some polls showed a tight race.

Both seats are considered safe Republican seats, with President Trump winning them by over 30 points in November.

Separate article from The Hill.
