Syncing camera time with PC time

I am setting up a new system with some inexpensive Amcrest IP cameras and Blue Iris. This system will be self contained and disconnected from the internet. I want to sync the camera time with the PC time.

As a background, I also have a similar setup with better Dahua cameras (see signature) and BI. With that system, I setup a local NTP server using W11, and cameras sync time using that. It all works perfectly.

The problem I'm having with the new system is getting the local NTP server to work. I've done the exact same thing on the new build, but the cameras just won't sync with the PC. I've tried all the google suggestions. Maybe it's the Amcrest camera, but I expect the functionality to be the same as a Dahua camera since the web interface is nearly identical.

Anyway... The question I have is, how do other people do this? Is there a better way that local NTP?

Are you using the NetTime program (third party utility), or trying to sort out built-in NTP server functions of Windows? Seach the forums here for NetTime, it really is the way to go.

I'm using the built-in Windows NTP. It is working perfectly in my main system, but for the life of me I can't make it work in the new system. I'll checkout Nettime. Something easier and more reliable would be fantastic. Thanks!

FYI...

I have NetTime running on my BI server and all cams synced to it.

what about in windows 11?

I can confirm that it continues to work on Windows 11 (which is not very surprising, because for all their faults, MS does really try to maintain backward compatibility as much as possible).
