Adoption issue with NVR pro Ubiquiti

Hello,
I am having a problem with the adoption of Hikvision cameras on a Ubiquiti NVR PRO, when I adopt an extra camera to the NVR one of the cameras disconnects.

Usually that means you exceeded the capacity of the NVR, usually the bandwidth. But I would hope Ubiquity would have a high bandwidth?

Thank you,

Yes, correct the bandwidth has the capacity. The cameras record in high definition so the NVR has the capacity to adopt 60 cameras and at the moment I can only adopt 20, if I want to enter an extra camera one of the other cameras is disconnected.

If not a bandwidth issue then any chance it's an IP conflict between the Hikvision and one of the existing cameras on the NVR?
Most Hikvision cams are defaulted to a static IP of 192.168.1.64.
Possibly set the Hik to DHCP before plugging it into the NVR?

Thank you, the cameras have static IP and are on the same network.

Is it the same camera always being disconnected or randomly?

What's your poe consumption like?
You might be hitting the limit.
usually if it is the same cameras that are disconnected, at the moment I cannot adopt 14 cameras because they are the ones that are always disconnected.

-Try logging into the cameras in question using the IP address of the camera. Any issues?
-Look on your network for another device that has the same IP address of your camera. That would cause connection and accessibility of the camera to go in and out.
-Check power to see if it is an issue with the power to the camera.
-Check the system logs on the camera itself for a hint. System logs on the camera side would probably require SD card in the camera itself. Can check the logs on the NVR side but information may or may not help.
-Check network connection on Ubiquiti side. Make sure you aren't plugging the NVR using a 10/100 switch somewhere on the chain that would cause bottlenecks.
-Check the storage device. Does the drive have enough throughput where you are able to record the streams of all cameras without dropping streams? Usually this issue would affect playback but not liveview though.

The logs on the NVR side should be good enough to at least point you in the right direction.
And if not there may be an option on the NVR to use SSH which will let you see even more details in the logs.
