BI Email Alert Stop Working with GMAIL, Not Sure What Caused it

I've been having BI sent email alert to my gmail account. It's been working fine until recently, not sure what has changed as I didn't make any changes on my own.

I did the following tests and they were successful:

1) Email server test with gmail account authentication
2) trigger alert in the camera's email alert

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

No idea where you are located, but maybe your area or account was late to the gmail two factor thing that hit most gmail users last year or the year before.

Setup an app password just for BI. And if you have already, maybe it just needs to be reset.

I'm in US. Yea, the MFA wasn't turned on. I turned it on and added the app password. After that, I'm not sure where to put the generated app password in BI.

In the email server, the gmail account is authenticated via OAuth, it won't let me entered the app password?

What happens if you select the OAuth or maybe delete that email on BI and re-add to put in the app password?

In BI, I shouldn't select gmail in the preset, I need to go with user defined, then it will allow me to enter the app password. It's working now.
