5 SERIES have a plan for the dual illumination, but will be 1/1.8cmos, i think will have it at Q3 to release.
Andy, what with 1/1.2" Color4K (5849) replacement?

Has anyone tried the 5849 in B&W with external dual IR illuminators?
DJI have access to very good high resolution (mostly 48 Mpx) Western image sensors from Sony, created for mobile (smartphones, drones, sport cameras) and profesional photo/video cameras markets (DSLR, mirrorless photo/video pro cameras).. Plus High-end SOC with modern mobile/professional video processing and AI processing.
Those drones they literally follow the man/bicycle/car and follow him, regardless of obstacles /trees etc/ based on vision from sometimes even 6-8 cams and sensors (ultra sonic, LIDAR in latest models) around drone (360 degree sensing)..
HIK/Dahua are using cheap Chinese CCTV sensors (which see IR) at 2/4/8 Mpx.. There is minimal development for this segment of sensor market (too cheap).
Both Hik and Dahua don't even use newest Sony Starvis 2 sensors (You can find them on premium dash cams from other Chinese companies), which are on market for 2 years now..
ps. following the owner on bike by DJI drone and AI processing:
How is PT different from PTZ? No zoom in PT? Seems like there is an option for virtually every application, lol
Here's a new Ad from Dahua promoting their new PT Wizcolor cameras @EMPIRETECANDY
I'll have one of those quality just pan and tilt cameras. Who needs optical zoom anyway. 10 x digital zoom will be fine.PT cams are taken from consumer world, before Dahua sold them only under ImouLife brand.
Now they got divorce with ImouLife and all that cheap plastic crap with very limited firmware / functionality are sold under Dahua brand...
And this one below boasts 16x digital zoom!I'll have one of those quality just pan and tilt cameras. Who needs optical zoom anyway. 10 x digital zoom will be fine.
Excellent. I'll definitely have that one. It looks plastic as well, even better. It won't get rusty.And this one below boasts 16x digital zoom!
I can hardly wait to see how great that looks.
</end sarcasm>
