EXTREMELY slow alpr/detections with 4070 GPU

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

System: Windows
Operating System: Windows (Windows 11 24H2)

CPUs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX (Intel)
1 CPU x 24 cores. 32 logical processors (x64)

GPU (Primary): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8 GiB) (NVIDIA)
Driver: 566.14, CUDA: 11.8.89 (up to: 12.7), Compute: 8.9, cuDNN: 8.5

So, is this system being ran on a Laptop?
Laptops are not good choices for running Blue Iris.

Actually on a AtomMan G7 TI. Technically a MiniPC but beefed up

Just tried to remove OCR and switch from v8 to v5.. no change

Something is wrong, either a setup or AtomMan isn't cut up for the task.

My 4th gen without a GPU is sub 500ms on plate reading.

You may need more zoom too for plates.

Try switching to Object Detection (YOLOv5 .NET) it should be faster.

I tried and it kept failing out/ wouldn't start. I had to uninstall CP and reinstall it

Try uninstalling the Object Detection (YOLOv5 .NET) module then reinstall using Do not use download cache.
