4K-X 6mm uneven focus

LOL.

I had my PTZ working great. Then my neighbor changed his fence and cut down trees and whacked out the autotracking and had to spend time to tune it in.

Then a couple years later he planted new trees and had to fine-tune again.

I’m just gonna say that after you spend countless hours dialing in a ptz and one of the homeowners decides to put up a basketball goal right in the line of the sidewalk it covers… grrrrrrr

This morning the Color 4K-X 6mm caught crescent moon rising. Earthlight lit up dark portion of moon enough to be visible on 4K-TX sensor.
The entire frame is supplied so one can see 6 mm focus is pretty good for distance and onward to infinity. I agree it would not be good for close objects.

I spent the last hour swapping locations of the 4K-X and B52IR-Z12E on the pole. About 20 minutes of actual deinstalling and re-installing and 40 minutes of, nope, that's still not the same FOV and it looks crooked, better make another adjustment.

It couldn't be just a simple swap though, as the 4K-X uses a round 3-hole junction box and the B52IR-Z12E uses a square 4-hole junction box. So, I had to swap junction boxes as well as cameras.

Like I mentioned, I don't need a neighbor to provide challenges, I can do that all too well myself. Of course, I had an audience of neighbors watching my every move from their property and mumbling. Did I mention I'm not a people person and the impatient disease syndrome (IDS) keeps advancing?
