Great news. Is there a way to signup for email updates? I looked on their website and couldn't find anything. I've never received an email from them.

Not that I know of. I think that email went out to those on active maintenance. But I would imagine that the BOT will post it on the thread below.

Yeah, I got that. I just renewed my maintenance on DEC 1, but now I have no idea if I paid it to the correct people with the fiasco going on with their payment processor. I have an e-mail stating I renewed it, but the coverage date hasn't changed on the blue iris screen. I guess I'll find out if I got swindled on 12/13/24.
 
It does not update automatically. You need to enter the code.

Is it OK to pay Perspective software?

I am updating a business account, and not sure if Perspective is ok to use-- or are they the ones screwing over the BI developer??

NEVER MIND-- I see now Perspective / Stripe is their new e-commerce partner.

Perspective Software is the name of the company that produces Blue Iris.

Stripe and SendOwl is who Perspective Software is using to administer/process the payments. It use to be MyCommerce/Digital River that handled the transactions.

Its a bit annoying to have no information as I was just about to buy a new licence (Im running BI from 2021 so missing a few nice features), but dont see much point if it will momentarily be out of date since things will shift over to BI6....

Im guessing it is just rumours still....

The first post in this thread says that everyone on active maintenance will get BI 6 when it comes out. There's no reason to wait to renew...
