The autotracking firmware is a special one that we ask dahua engineer to do it for us, dahua official firmware not support autotracking for this camera.
So two options.
1. No autotracking with AI Tab
2. Autotracking with No AI tab, no big function for the AI Tab right now. The camera still have AI function. But for BI can't work the AI out, so for BI, this camera just an autotracking cam.

OK, so does that mean that Auto Tracking is setup in the GUI of the camera. This can only be done with Internet Explorer and a plugin ? Then after it is setup, you can close Internet Explorer and use BI as normal and the camera will still do the Auto Tracking ? The Auto Tracking is what is important to me.

Correct, that is RIGHT it supports the autotracking.

Ok thanks. Is there any chance that my 2017 SD49225T-HN can be firmware updated to also do Auto Tracking. I expect No, but think it is worth asking.

No, it can't ,they use different hardware, chips totally different.

Hi Andy,
I have had the SD49225XA-HNR running since it got here and is working fine with Auto Tacking.
I will be getting 2 more cameras very soon, probably one the same and one of the 4MP 49425XB-HNR ones.
Also I was looking for a PTZ that has wifi and builtin microphone. Something like the 29204UE-GN but with wifi. Do you sell anything like that, or an outdoor version instead ?
