    Hey all.. whats the easiest way to restrict nonadmin console users from deleting clips? I know removing the "view recorded clips" from the user takes care of it.. but i want them to be able to playback clips.. is this even posiible? Thanks for any advice :)

    Cool i will try that. The camera is at the owners house but im going to have access to it friday. I noticed in another of your threads you said enable video&audio on main and sub stream. Im assuming the discovery/onvif port are not the same as the http port?

    i7-4790k would probably handle 10-15 cameras with no problem. The compression settings are in BI main settings (gear icon at top left) under webserver tab, advanced, encoder profiles

    What camera is it? Maybe try boosting the receive buffer to 5mb under video configuration tab in the cameras properties in BI.

    You can connect to the cameras sub stream in BI. But BI compresses the stream to the mobile app to 512kbps regardless of what your cameras are feeding to the BI server. So really no need to do it for that reason. You can adjust the stream to even lower bandwidth if you want. Sub streams are good...

    Just got my UPS expedited tracking number.. So yea E&M Security is offering free ups expedited upgrade if you buy 4 cameras or more (of this model at least)
