    @The Automation Guy Just to clarify the original question. I was inquiring about using a SSD C: drive for the OS and Blue Iris Program. Saving New to the m.2 NVMe SSD and then saving Stored on the large HDD.

    Thank you for the details and help. Is there the potential for multiple spotting cams? For example and I have a PTZ on the corner of a house and a spotting cam on two sides of the house? If so can one spotter have priority such as one that overlooks a driveway vs a backyard?

    Can motorized zoom cameras as well as PTZ cameras utilize this feature? Can BI zoom a motorized zoom camera to try get better captures of desired items such as people, cars, etc? Does the camera in question have to have AI capabilities? Does AI at the camera level help this function?

    Just getting started...

    Hi everybody, I'm in North NJ and looking to build out a 4-6 camera setup for external monitoring of my home. Planning on going with a Blue Iris setup. I'll have some camera and wiring questions that I'll post in the respective sections. I'm looking forward to learning about this technology.
