    Good question. The DB1 PIR issue was reported by @Emiks5 here. I have not yet taken the doorbell apart, but was able to verify by running my own tests as well. For me personally, I don't mind since I have a external PIR mounted above the camera triggering notifications, but it could be an issue...

    Er... LOL. No. Oops! Thanks for letting me know. If that were the case, it wouldn't be a very good camera would it? I'll see if I can upload the videos to youtube or another site. EDIT: OK. Updated to host videos on vimeo.com instead. Hopefully will work better than the forum media library.

    YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

    On the DB11, I wired a relay straight to the doorbell button. The relay is setup to trigger an alarm zone which interprets this zone as a chime. For people using zwave or ZigBee, the same principle will work, or yes, an Arduino as well.

    It might just be the iOS version of BI. I just tested on PC and android. Mic is working, although I haven't actually had a need to talk to anyone yet
