    when it gets to p2p screen i just opted out - is that good i hear from other guys? so didnt put my mob at the coded screen still cam log in via blue e says wrong pw ! currently ive got an entry in top & bottom of devices page presume i dont delete any in that screen

    So Im in on IE view of nvr, it's checked it's zoom, it's still sitting in top of add device/video device Showing Live ,Status x , guess I need to do something to bring it to added device at bottom of page

    Hi So my new dahua 5442 cam arriving this morning ( only ordered it from hong kong on Sunday ! ) am I able to plug it into my nvr uninitialised? If not do I give it 12v & initialise it in dahuas config tool. Is there a 1,2,3 list of steps to get it operational

    i had a prev system with TVI . i presume that even though it was an omnivision sensor which i understood were good it was 4mp on 1/3" sensor is that basically same as 1/3.0 which is way smaller sensor that 1/1.8 if so , that will be why its rubbish , pixellation at night and even the ir in...

    Yeah the top of screen one on live view called "manual snapshot "works , but bottom of screen one called "snapshot" seems not to be programmed ?

    flaming heck thats a mighty small icon , but u r right it does do it large & detailed with stats - cheers BUT being picky thats not my ideal way , is the one i show at bottom of nvr just a dumb unuseable icon , cos it would be WAY MORE easy if i could get that to work

    One with 3 black squares is IE in " IE mode", other is chrome, but only the direct nvr has the snapshot button. I have the nvr on my table so just want the nvr snapshot button to work ... Sending it to the zip drive

    the snapshot button is on the nvr gui which is convenient as thats where im reviewing stuff , but the snapshot button is not there on the web view version

    hi NVR4104HS-P-EI i can get snapshot on the live screen via momentary menu at top of screen , this saves to the inserted zipdrive (9 it warns me if no zipdrive ) BUT on playback paused the snapshot button ( at bottom of screen ) doesnt seem to do anything ps the scissors work to record...

    right autopsy done : it wasnt until just before bedtime last night that i was ever able to access the nvr via the web , because i never knew the nvr password ( now changed ) this morning i was looking in camera settings image etc rather than Add device / video device menu where that blue "e"...

    Ahhhh , look what's just appeared , web link I swear that want there. Maybe after wattj had got me to synchronise nvr address to my modem , it had been able to reveal this.     I sent pics of the nvr gui , and of the nvr via internet explorer. Both similar. I use the system by directly viewing nvr on a monitor and mouse attached to nvr. But since dahua have removed the hyperlink to the cams menu, is there another way into the cams menu
