    the fender trim looks like a different tone/shade as they appear darker. the pictures online of the vehicle's show they came with paint matched trim, so maybe they altered that as well like some people do using aftermarket chrome trim. Look terrible IMO, but may be what is done on this...

    agreed, 02-06 GMC Envoy XL with an aftermarket grille. could be used as identifier. the wheels are a factory gmc suv/truck alloy wheel but not sure if they were standard with that vehicle/model. has a pretty dark tint on it too. maybe a champagne or silver color?

    IR too bright for items up close, losing detail

    you need to play with exposure to get rid of the blur and gain settings to balance the light on the face once you can actually see an unblurred face :). lower the gain, try changing exposure from 1/3 to 1/6 then further. you will have to play with it.

    That is interesting with the bullets then. My hik 2132 turret crops both vertical and horizontal FOV going from 3mp to 2mp, same as my dahua 3mp bullets. I don't have any hik bullets so wasn't aware of that.
