Can we receive alarms/view videos remotely when camaras are not connected to the internet?
I wondering if it’s possible to run smartPSS on a PC and use ZeroTier to remote into the nvr via DMSS app? I personally run blue iris on a PC using ZeroTier to remote into cameras. But am curious to know if you could do the same using smartPSS on a PC the same way. ?- dudemaar

lol, not really. I've always wanted one and when I seen the Ender v3 on sale for $200 Canadian I decided to get one. I am also printing lots of cool toys for my 7yr son, plus some packout mods. It's never ending, Wishing I got into this years ago. -

Dahua door station installed
yes I seen that. I have only a cat5e going to my door, so I cut the rj45 off both ends and used 2 twisted pair for the 24v power supply. can always revert back.- dudemaar

How to wire/install when soffits are too high?
No big holes in siding except for the small screws for mounting. If you look close I managed to tuck the whole connector in behind the j trim. Sometimes you wont be able to do what I did, so alternative would be to use a pfa130-e junction box to hide the connector. simply remove a plastic...- dudemaar

You can easy hide/tuck wire in vinyl siding j trims and soffit j trims. Plan your route. Try use wire similar color to siding and or UV protected if possible. Dahua has a new water proof junction box PFA130-E / PFA130E for Turrets ( PFA137, PFA139 )
Just purchased a 3d printer on sale last week. No expert yet, but thought I would design a spacer for mounting the box on steel wall sheeting. Most times pfa130e don’t fit between the ribs on the flat. Been a pet peeve of mine for years. If anyone wants the file, let me know. Still needs... -
