    Analog box camera. Interference?

Lot of different types of “interference.” Impressive they are still operational.

    T54IR-ZE cable indent(?) plug

All the dahua cams I’ve ever installed (US versions) both plastic and metal, have had a tab there that you’d use your cutters/pliers to break if you’re going to use it.

IPC Camera Alarm Trigger - Tripping outside of set hours

As far as your guy, he probably shut the breaker just to shut up the cams. I’ve had guys on construction sites climb up and disconnect cams!

IPC Camera Alarm Trigger - Tripping outside of set hours

Not sure why they have motion enabled by default on the tioc cams. Hungover 30’ in the air and they boot and start screaming in your face! What wittaj said, if you’re linkage schedules on ivs are correct go to alarm/ motion detection, it’s probably enabled.

Adding fisheye to dahua NVR - 1 channel, not 4 ?

Weird, the dahua fisheyes only take 1 channel but their thermals are a pain like that, constantly adding the second visible light camera automatically.

    Junction Boxes, Required or not?

I’ve had the “waterproof “ connections that come with the cams fail many times. PoF seems to be the grommets don’t make a good seal on thinner Ethernet. As far as junction boxes, something not mentioned above; if using dome type cameras under a soffit, especially on a single story house...

Black screen on double click [SOLVED]

If you right click on black screen are there any options for mani/sub?

Question about A/V closet Ethernet terminations

I’d say the opposite. Even if you used punch down blocks you’re still using 45 cords to connect the cameras and from blocks to nvr. More attenuation loss like adding a dozen couplers in a 325’ run would make a usable cable not.

Can not find Camera on NVR

I don’t think it matters but did you move the cables around on back of nvr?

Black screen on double click [SOLVED]

Not familiar with BI but usually with nvrs it’ll be because both main and sub aren’t enabled. E.g. older lprs wouldn’t have main enabled by default on camera itself so when you blew it up it switches to main from sub.

Can not find Camera on NVR

I’ve seen this before and had to hard reset the cameras. Don’t remember if I defaulted the nvr as well.

    NVR5224-24P-4KS2 Hardware Factory Reset ?

There’s no reset button if that’s what you’re asking. You’d have to dig up the engineering schematics to figure out which two points to short otherwise.

Not familiar with those models but every other auto track has a setting to return to preset x after x amount of time.

What's the best fisheye camera available right now on the market from a cost/spec perspective?

For $700 this thing has served me well in wide open spaces. https://us.dahuasecurity.com/product/12mp-ir-360-panoramic-network-fisheye-with-analytics/

Power flickered once, my IPC-HDW2231RP-ZS not working anymore.

Might invest in a good power conditioner. Anything over $3k I don’t even tell the customers I’m building the couple hundred extra into it.

Is it possible to connect a driveway beam alarm to a NVR via I/O's

I’d think you’ll have to go the monitor route, unless you find an ancient tv that you won’t miss whatever tripped alarm while the TVs os boots.

Waterproof Junction for 4 strings of POE?

Maybe just drop a pano in and power from inside?
  22. L

    Power and poe

It’ll tell the switch it only needs network and not power if you go the 12v route. Seeing as how that vto has no local storage having it powered off of gate PSU, if it has a bbu, and the switch is on a different circuit would give you some redundancy.

    49225 off line?

I’d check what type of Poe was being applied. I’ve had some larger ptzs with lower end dahua and Poe switches that’ll burn ports/quit working if set on constant tour.

Anyone know of any solar motion lights with adjustable sensors?

Can’t seem to find any. It’d be nice to illuminate the driveway when a vehicle comes up without shining right in the drivers eyes; have sensor point straight and light 90• to a side. Another kind of unrelated thing, any of you ever modded any of the solar flood/spots? I’ve played around with...

NVR showing port 80 not port 1 etc

What BRF said. Every time I’ve had hik cams on a dahua nvr I’ve had to use on a switch. And don’t forget to add a onvif user with admin rights to each cameras advanced network configuration.

Can't get camera times to sync up (have tried manual, NTP, etc.)

If they’re hooked to nvr they probably don’t have access to sync with remote servers. Not sure why but this has been an issue for a while. Kind of like how variable speed windshield wipers was a big deal that took years to develop! Anymore I just manually type in the DST dates and if the...
