    A Bit Off-Topic, ? About AC Wiring ...

I have a question about running new AC electrical lines to power new outdoor lighting. The lights illuminate important areas for camera captures, hence, the tie-in to this forum. What I need to do is pretty simply, but as I've not done it before, I'd like to be sure of my plans. I currently...

    PoE Switch Suggestions

At night, when the IR lights are also drawing power, my 49225 draws as much as 19.8 watts - see attached screenshot, the 49225 was drawing 17.6 at that moment ... Separately, an IR illuminator in a different area of the property is on its own Cat6 cable and draws 12.7 watts at night. The...

How to connect a 3-wire audio in/out to a Microseven M7WP-MIC microphone and speakers?

The camera you reference has it's own microphone and it does, indeed, pass an audio signal through the network cable you attach to the camera. I am using that same camera with Blue Iris, not an NVR, so I am not sure how your NVR interprets the signal, but Blue Iris records the audio just fine.

One way to test BI's triggers is the use of the Hot Zone. You almost certainly do NOT want to live with it this way, but since the Hot Zone will override most other settings, and since you are not getting enough triggered alerts, this would confirm that the camera and BI are working fine...

Ref the emboldened text .... have you tested that?

    Amcrest AD410

As far as testing goes, you really ought to consider what @wittaj was saying about loads on your router and BI optimizations through substreams. You might find that some of the problem really does disappear if you can live with substreams for your multi-view screen.

The cancellations are from Deepstack. Turning Deepstack OFF for that camera, as I've suggested a few times, will definitely overcome that issue.
  8. I

    Amcrest AD410

You asked if the issue was ONVIF. The test I outlined removes ONVIF from the equation and simplifies things by removing Deepstack. It focuses ONLY on the BI triggering mechanism.
  9. I

    Amcrest AD410

You can test it..... In the Trigger tab for the camera: Step 1. Turn OFF Deepstack for that camera. Go to Artificial Intelligence and click on None. 2. Turn OFF ONVIF triggers. Uncheck "Camera's digital input ...." 3. Turn on BI Motion Sensor 4. In Motion Sensor Configure, check BOTH Object...

Good luck to you. Be sure to report back once you are able to sort out the issues and let us know how it was resolved.

To clarify ... Your doorbell and configuration are having a problem with BI. The doorbell itself works just fine in my case and others. I don't want people to think there is a global issue between the AD410 and BI.
  12. I

    Amcrest AD410

Well OK then. I've exhausted my suggestions. At this point it seems you are having a BI issue with getting ONVIF triggers from the camera. Your use of DS is adding another layer of complexity to the problem. You should probably open a trouble ticket with BI and see if they can help you sort it...

One more thing to check is your WiFi connection to the camera. Post a screenshot from BI showing the BI Status - Cameras tab.
  14. I

    Amcrest AD410

Check your logs, see if the trigger came into BI.
  15. I

    Amcrest AD410

See my other message, are you using BI's Motion sensor? If so, turn it off.
  16. I

    Amcrest AD410

Also, turn off Motion sensor in BI. Use ONLY the ONVIF triggers from the camera. Sorry, I should have included this in my earlier message. We want to isolate the connection between the camera and BI.
  17. I

    Amcrest AD410

OK ... so go to BI and turn OFF the Deepstack processing for that camera. Forget about using Deepstack for right now. You can re-enable it later, AFTER you confirm the connection between the camera and BI are working. Turn off DS and test. Report back.

    Amcrest AD410

Yes, I mean in the Amcrest app. I've said this numerous times now. The Amcrest app is the primary, though not exclusive, tool for making changes to the camera settings. That's why we are focusing there for the moment. It's our access to the In-camera settings.

    Amcrest AD410

Looking at the Amcrest app, confirm that MOTION Detection is turned OFF. Confirm that Human Detection Zone is properly defined ... this is what mine shows:

    Amcrest AD410

I really wish you would forget about BI for a bit, until we can confirm everything else UPSTREAM of BI is working correctly.
  21. I

    Amcrest AD410

Forget BI for the moment. Are you using MOTION or HUMAN detection in the Amcrest app?
  22. I

    Amcrest AD410

In the Amcrest app or in BI?
  23. I

    Amcrest AD410

OK, so the camera is picking up all the motion triggers - AND - compared to your other 2 cameras the AD410 is capturing everything they do. Correct? Are you using MOTION or HUMAN detection for the AD410 right now?
  24. I

    Amcrest AD410

See emboldened text .... How do you know that? Are you seeing the captures in the Amcrest app or elsewhere?
  25. I

    Amcrest AD410

Look at is this way .... you have a base layer, the camera .... then you have software IN the camera for Motion Detection or AI Human Detection. Start with getting this working correctly to your satisfaction. Upthread you made some conflicting comments about comparisons. For the moment, focus...

    Amcrest AD410

See the emboldened part of your message - that is the triggering. Right now you are having trouble discerning between motion detection - triggering - and alerts. You are having this problem, in part, because you are only looking at the results AFTER Deepstack has processed them. AND - you have...
  27. I

    Amcrest AD410

The interaction between Motion - Triggers - Alerts still needs work. That is why I suggested you NOT use Deepstack for now. Not until you are happy with the triggering. Your use case is really not that difficult, and the tools you have are very capable. It's a matter of stepping carefully...
  28. I

    Amcrest AD410

That is what I suggest, yes.
  29. I

    Amcrest AD410

It means we will need to look at your Motion sensor configuration in BI to be sure it is triggering images for DS to examine.
  30. I

    Amcrest AD410

Almost. Go ahead and let BI/DS confirm the Human Detection (since you need it for vehicle detection anyway), but the triggering for Humans lies in the Camera where triggering for Vehicles will be configured in BI. Make sense?
