The rationale behind my suggestion was to maximize the AI features you have invested in. My bet is you will be very pleased with the Human Detection feature of the AD410 as it is the same as Smart Motion Detection feature on other Dahua cameras. For the vehicle detection, my suggestion would be...

    Amcrest AD410

Let's go back to your original complaint. You were saying that Motion Detection performance in BI with the AD410 was spotty. How is it right now?
  3. I

    Amcrest AD410

Yes, the process is - Camera detects Motion - Camera determines if Motion is a Human (you are not using this, but you should) - If YES, Camera creates a Trigger Event - BI polls Camera for Trigger Events - BI passes Trigger Event images to DS for processing - If DS detects Object, DS sends ALERT...

In your case, you have AI in the camera and another layer of AI processing with BI/DS. Use them. Is BI currently sending you push notifications for your other 6 cameras?
  5. I

    Amcrest AD410

Exactly! That is why AI is such a huge advantage. It's a game changer.
  6. I

    Amcrest AD410

Did you make any changes to DS yet? I don't think you have. When you walked around just now, the camera triggered and sent that to BI - then BI/DS processed the images and detected you. If you want a clean direct comparison of Amcrest app versus BI, you need to disable Deepstack processing on...

    Amcrest AD410

Before getting into DS and Alerts and Push, let's take a moment. Right now, if you disable DS on your doorbell camera, you will get a trigger into BI every time your camera detects motion. This is the exact same behavior as you should be seeing in your Amcrest app. If you want to test the...

    Amcrest AD410

If you have push notifications enabled in the Mobile Devices section of BI and then configure your doorbell to send those Alerts via push notifications, then YES.

    Amcrest AD410

Remind me .... are you trying to detect people or vehicles or both? Or something else (cats, birds, etc.)? For those who want to use the camera AI for Human detection, you should DESELECT Motion Detection and ONLY select Human Detection, which is done in the Amcrest app.
  10. I

    Amcrest AD410

Are you using the AI in the camera for Human/Vehicle detection?
  11. I

    Amcrest AD410

The camera triggered BI just fine. And since you are still running Deepstack, it cancelled the trigger when it did not find anything.
  12. I

    Amcrest AD410

So if your ONVIF settings are correct as shown upthread, you can test if the camera is triggering BI. Go to your multi-view screen and right click the doorbell camera, and select Trigger now. You can confirm in your log that BI received an "External" trigger from the doorbell camera.
  13. I

    Amcrest AD410

Also, I think you already did this, but please confirm the video encoding you are using is H.264, not any of the others. And that you are using CBR (Constant Bit Rate).
  14. I

    Amcrest AD410

But you were having DS times exceeding 2 seconds. Is DS running on your CPU?
  15. I

    Amcrest AD410

Good, that's exactly what it should show. What about the port settings? Does it now show ONVIF port as 80?
  16. I

    Amcrest AD410

BTW, part of the problem with BI/DS processing alerts too slowly may be due to the fact you are taxing your processor with using Mainstreams for all your feeds. Use of substreams is one of the first steps in optimizing performance in BI.
  17. I

    Amcrest AD410

BI does not get alerts from the Amcrest app. We want BI to get triggers from the camera and then BI will determine Alerts .... all separate from the Amcrest app. BI has no interaction with the Amcrest app at all. BI and the Amcrest app will run independent of one another and in parallel, but no...

    Amcrest AD410

Please click on the Find/inspect button and let me know if it shows something different for the Main stream .... it should start with "MediaProfile_Channel1 ........ BTW - it's good BI stopped detecting motion. That's what we want.
  19. I

    Amcrest AD410

The concept here is that we want BI to accept the camera's event trigger, since you are happy with the Amcrest app's performance. This is pretty straight forward. We do not care about BI processing a trigger. We only want BI to accept a trigger event coming from the camera. ONVIF is what...

    Amcrest AD410

OK. So you have all the cameras displaying in high resolution (Mainstream). That obviates the need for being concerned about Substream settings, but we need to be sure DS and BI are coordinated to use Mainstream. I remain concerned about the difference in the Stream Profiles even for the Main...

    Amcrest AD410

Are you running all the cameras for your multi-view display in high resolution? How many cameras?
  22. I

    Amcrest AD410

There are actually 2 settings for substream resolution, even in the screenshot you posted, but the other is VGA which I doubt you want to use, so it is moot. The one you selected, 720x576, should be fine.
  23. I

    Amcrest AD410

Have you tried using the "Find/inspect" button to access the camera?
  24. I

    Amcrest AD410

Using the Substream for DS should not have any effect on your normal viewing of the Live view. If you get the Main and Substreams configured correctly, when you switch from multi-view in BI to that specific camera, it will automatically switch to the Main stream.

    Amcrest AD410

In the other AD410 thread (New Amcrest AD410 doorbell Cam Review), I noticed a comment that using SmartPSS to adjust video settings can result in a degraded image. SmartPSS and Amcrest Surveillance Pro are essentially the same software tool. In that case, they required a factory reset to restore...

    Amcrest AD410

BTW - did you change the IP address for the AD410? Did you try to set it as a static IP?
  27. I

    Amcrest AD410

I think you should go ahead and include the correct syntax for the Substream. You can always choose to not use it. Also, check your "Discovery/ONVIF port" setting. Yours shows 8999. Unless you specifically configured that port setting, this may be part of your problem as the AD410 out of the...

Need a good PTZ, but smaller than SD5A425XA-HNR

I also have a Dahua PTZ without tracking that is much smaller (SD1A404XB-GNR), but the zoom range and low light performance are at a substantial disadvantage compared to the 49225 and SD5A. It's an entirely different class of camera. The SD1A would likely fit nicely in that location and be...

Need a good PTZ, but smaller than SD5A425XA-HNR

Are you concerned about cosmetics or function installed at this location? There is not a huge cosmetic difference between the SD5A and the 49225. I have both and while the 49225 is smaller, they will be equally noticeable at that location on your home. If, OTOH, your concern is function, then...

I also want you to check the Stream Profiles for Main and Substream and make certain they are EXACTLY as shown in the posted screenshot. The syntax you posted upthread is different. BTW, it would really help a lot if you posted actual screenshots of your settings and your display.
