    I will also add, that having my ranges set 0-3.33 during the day, sometimes it's so bright that I have had to put a .X value in for the bottom end to keep it from closing up.

    When it's coming down? Yea, it can be bad. Not as bad as static on the TV, but similar. My rear camera was being alerted non-stop. Generally, it helps at night. I just wanted a worst case capture, and also with the path not being cleared no one has been able to walk back there.

    I haven't done much to adjust settings at this point other than guessing, and mostly on the exposure/gain side of things. With the snow right now I both don't want to be outside and not sure I would get an accurate representation. Hopefully I will be able to get back to it soon.

    My understanding is that Exposure Compensation should only work with Auto, but in some models/firmwares you will see a difference even when set to Manual. Most of my 5442s will show a change when set to Manual. I don't think I am having any issues like what you are describing. All of my views...

    I am not 100% certain how SFP works, but I would think you could use a media converter on the house side and then the POE switch I linked on the camera end. I would think you could also use one of the POE switches on both ends, if you wanted to power cameras at your house or plug your NVR/BI PC...

    I still need to work on settings, but it seems to be doing a better job than the Z12E at night. This is likely due to the amount of IR it throws out.

    How would I know if I can manually adjust the focus? I want to change the focus of Distant View. It's too far out, and I would like to bring it closer. @EMPIRETECANDY Do you know if I can open the camera and change focus?
