ANPR accuracy %
My vote is for OpenALPR. It gets pretty close to 100% when I feed it decent plate images. My recommendation is to avoid Dahua's built in LPR, which gets maybe 30% even under the best conditions in my experience. -

What happened to Live Cams Pro on iOS?
I'm in the same boat, missing Live Cams Pro. Isn't there some way to install an app that isn't in the app store via itunes? One app to try is iDMSS Plus, but it's not as good as Live Cams Pro. Neither are as good as Tinycam Pro on Android, but Live Cams Pro was the best on iOS. A shame they...- wrybread

I know, but my point is that my server, like most servers, has the top level domain (and therefore a period) in the /path/to/ftp. And after the firmware update I still don't see a way to search for license plates, or even to see the license plates for recorded footage. It shows them on the Live tab as cars drive by, with the same 50% average plate recognition. Hopefully that recognition rate improves with the Algorithm... -

Me too, I love OpenALPR. But then there's no point in using the $450 IPC-HFW7442H-Z, might as well use the half priced IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E, which is actually a better choice since it has more zoom. -

I just got a second camera, and it's confirmed, my old Thinkpad T530 definitely can't process them both. So I'm looking at getting a replacement computer again. To keep costs down I'm thinking about getting a desktop, unless someone knows of a good inexpensive laptop. Doesn't need to be new...
