Two new interesting cams from dahua

My 5213-Z has been arrived. :-) At first it's a really nice cam. I will take some pictures but will need same days. The zoom and focus is much faster than i thought. Its slower as the zoom on my PTZ (SD65F230F-HNI PTZ) but much faster than my Axis P3367 (non-PTZ). But you can only zoom and...

Two new interesting cams from dahua

IPC-HDBW8232E-Z uses the old Exmor, the IPC-HDW5231R-Z uses the newer Exmor-R. I've said something about the two sensors at the post: Do you like or dislike any of these? Yes, no and why?

Do you like or dislike any of these? Yes, no and why?

The 1/1.9" starlight uses EXMOR sensors like the IMX185 with a sensitivity of 1120 mV. The 1/2.8" starlight uses EXMOR-R sensors like the IMX291 with a sensitivity of 1300 mV. The EXMOR-R is back-illuminated. Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back-illuminated_sensor): A traditional...

    WDR question DWDR vs 120dB

Hi, 120dB WDR is sensor based WDR. The sensor outputs one set of two or four frames with different exposure times. In this case, the gain can also be set separately for each frame in addition to the exposure time. The set of frames are combinded. DWDR takes only one frame. The Dark areas in...

NVR for continuous recording and alarm i/o

Hi, i'm looking for an NVR. It should - record continuously - automatically delete old recordings - have alarm i/o - while playback it let me jump to scenes with alarm i/o was triggered I don't need any motion detection and IVS. My homeautomation would trigger the alarm i/o. On Playback i...

Two new interesting cams from dahua

$730 and free shipping for the english version on ali. But this is very expensive, too. But Hikvision 4th-line is always expensive. Dahua smartline is cheaper, but of course more expensive than the eco-lines. We will see. ;-)

Two new interesting cams from dahua

Another interesting varifocal cam: IPC-HFW8630E-Z - 6MP (3072 x 2048) - 1/1.8” - Exmor R - DWDR sounds like Sony Starvis IMX178. :-) IMX178 doesn't have multiple exposure wdr (true wdr), only DWDR. But with 14 bit ADC, the DWDR could be nice, too.
