All my cameras are the same but they are not on the internet either. I use 1Passord and have been for years. I have over 1500 unique passwords and have no idea what they are.
Here's the background story, sorry I will try to make it short.
I had a woodpecker show up about 4 years ago. A female Northern Flicker. Kept pecking the same spot under the eve, north side. They are federally protected so I can shoot it (yet). I learned they only peck for two reasons...
Right but I need an enclosure for it and the injectors. You can see the switch next to it so I need to find a differed box and/or separate the switch. I could run a new conduit from the breaker behind the bolder and add a 12"x12" metal box there. That may work. Just need to figure cost to...
1" conduit, buried but already has 4x 10 gauge and 2x 12 gauge in it from the main pull box. Not going to try to pull another, just asking for trouble. I ran the 14 gauge from the sub breaker and added the breaker. It's only 4' to the outlet and another 8' to the plug. TP-Link told me if I...
The line I'm tapping is for my hot tub. 50am GCFI breaker at the main. About 100' to a sub panel near the spa. The sub panel has two breakers for the spa 20 & 30 amp both also GCFI (been like that for 20 years). I added a 15 amp breaker to the spa sub panel and ran it about 10' to an plug...
So I have a couple of wireless cameras and want to change to wired. I have power outside near where I want the jacks. I cannot run a new cat6 wire due to concrete and other restrictions. I tried TP-link Powerline adapters (which power another camera for me) and because there are CGFI outlets...
Have you changed the IP address of the camera in IP Config? Dahua uses 192.168.1.108 as a default IP for both NVRs and cameras. I kept having a conflict and it acted the same as you until I change my Dahua NVR to a different IP address. Every time I add a camera I will change the IP after...
Have you had any issues with the cameras temperature with the duct tape? I'm thinking about doing this but worried the duct tape will keep the camera from dissipating the heat.
What brand of router?
This is for ASUS but the theory should be the same for all.

I saw a post for a gel that gets put into the cat 5e, 6 etc. to keep moisture out for outdoor IP camera connections. I don't know what it's called. Any info so I can search for it?
Thanks!
You can read the first few pages of the thread for more info. I had a Q-see NVR and needed a quick fix so I bought an new NVR from Andy at Empire Tech via Amazon. It happened to be the exact same model as the Q-see I had. It was a quick fix that allowed me to remote view through P2P. BUT...
I had a QC908 and just threw it in the trash along with all eight cameras. It's BNC not IP so as far as I know you cannot remote view without going with a home VPN.
I use Omada. I have four EAP245s and a cloud controller that gives me a mesh network all over my home. But I use an ASUS router. So far I love the Omada mesh, no issues for about a year. All three of my wifi cameras are connected through them.
I recommend this one NVR528-8P-4kS2E. I have the 16 port version that replaced my Q-See NVR. Contact Andy at Empire Tech or you can get it on Amazon from him...
You could get the same ones on ebay pretty cheap but they must be factory reset. But as mentioned above it appears it's a Dahua NVR. I used Dahua cameras on my Q-See NVR without any issues.
Depends on your budget if you want to add more cameras or replace the NVR. Does another camera work in the same port? If so camera if not NVR. You may want to check ebay for cameras. But start with one to see if it works or overloading NVR.
You said cameras as in multiple? Did all of them stop? It's probably the remote viewing that has stopped. All the equipment should still work, you just lost remote viewing.
