    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Thanks for the direction. BI4 was holding pretty steady at 3GB of 8 but my system was running at 7GB of 8. seemed odd but then I remembered I had added a couple more 4mp cameras lol... so backed those down and things seem steady again so far. I guess I must just have this 8/16 core machine in...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Hi again, I haven't had an issue for awhile, but I'm having one. My UI2 cameras keeps loosing connection to the camera streams it seems. Every once in awhile it will just go to a black screen with an X in the upper left corner, then it will reconnect and load the cameras again. This has been...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Not that this is any help, but I just set up a group cycle a couple weeks ago. All I did is check the "enable camera cycle stream" for the group I wanted to be cycled, refresh UI2 and it showed up. It doesn't sound like your doing any of that wrong though =)... maybe try a different user just to...

By speed scrolling I just meant scrolling fast with my finger on the mouse wheel. Nothing more. Looking back at the logs, besides today, I only had that error occur once in December and once in January. But again, I've never tested it like this before. If I have lots of clips to check I just rdp...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

I have a camera like this... Went click crazy on alerts and clips via UI2 AND...... no crashes here. Alerts start and stop as expected. edit: Then again I had something happen.... While playing clips and then speed scrolling down the list fast... Got this message. and then UI2 reloaded 5...

Very nice @bp2008. I assume the Disable button in camera settings is a sign of things to come? I guess you'd have to add a hide/unhide disabled cameras button with that though eh. Anyways UI2 is still running great even with the added complexity! Maybe you could add a "make me breakfast" button...

Of course I'm only speaking for myself, but the IR ON/OFF isn't a big deal. The only time I use that is if one of my Hik domes get wet, the IR blinds the camera (bad design imo so working on eliminating them). I do use the logs and disable/enable though so glad to hear they're on your list =)...

Curious if adding admin things would be possible? Things like..... access to the events log IR on/off disable/enable cameras etc... I used these on the android app some, so just curious if you had any thoughts on things like such... As always no biggy, just a thought =) Or if this is a repeat my...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

I always thought this was a bug with edge since it's the only browser that does this to me but... this secretly drove me nuts so.. :D Not a big deal at all but for say.... if my clip list is below a certain width, the looping preview gets smaller with each frame until it disappears and cycles...

It sounds to me like your just in full screen mode... If you put the mouse to the left of the screen does a bar come up that you can drag right to exit full screen?

Hey, I'll look into that, thanks. After doing my own trial and error with cams during initial setup I now use nothing but Hik. Honestly I can't wait for all my non Hikvision cams to die :topsy_turvy:. I'll do some testing on this though, Thanks

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

This is good enough for me! If I am doing any serious detective work I always just go to my BI server as obviously it's easiest. I've found using my cameras time stamps don't always line up perfect when jumping from camera to camera so I removed them, but if it becomes a bigger deal to me I'll...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Is there a way to add a time stamp to clips during playback? Currently I look at the time on the alert clip and add the amount of time that has passed in the clip since then, to know an exact time. I guess it's good for my brain to do a little math so if not, or impossible, no biggy just a...

Right.. didn't consider this. The apk's I've been messing with lately have all been built simpler than that lol, but such is a programmers life. Either way you do good work. UI2 has been a blessing to our intranet.

You know UI2 is good when this is what is being debated .. I like your icon bp. It's simple and says what it needs to. Seems like it would be easy enough for anyone to change out the png image if they wanted something else. Keep up the good work!

    Windows 7 or 8 preferred?

I am very much so enjoying windows 10 so far. Of course it's still buggy but it seems like everything windows 8 should have been. Windows 8.1 has taught me to use a lot more keyboard shortcuts though. Between that and the nice list of options that come up when you right click the taskbar windows...

    can this handle 64 cameras?

My E5 8 core shows an even spread across all 16 threads on resource monitor.

    can this handle 64 cameras?

I have an E5 v2 8 core. My setup is 18 (mostly 1080P) all at 15fps cams. It's running at about 33%, occasionally spiking higher. I tested it with just 9 cams and the CPU dropped to 17%. Doing the math that means my CPU should be able to handle somewhere around 50 cams. So IMO I would think one...

    Expected FPS?

As for me, my LAN is gigabit. I've also tested BI 3 at 300+ FPS total (just to test I turned my cameras up a bit but obviously my network is fine atleast up to that). The way I normal have them set is about 240 FPS total, which BI3 obviously handles fine. With BI 4 though, same setup, I've only...

    Expected FPS?

So I don't have a solution and haven't had time to look into this yet, but your the first person I've come across that has a similar problem as me. I don't know your setup or anything, but for me this only happens with BI4. BI3 works perfectly fine. I haven't had much time to troubleshoot...
