    Doesn't seem to have made much of a difference, though it's not as bad. I did manage to lower CPU utilization a tiny bit. Seems to me that might be my issue and I guess I will find out when I get the upgraded system running.

    That's actually a great idea, the powerline way. I have two older 10MB Ethernet or power modules, I could test one of my cameras over it and see how it works. It's not gigabyte but for one camera it should be enough. - - - Updated - - - How did you get such a huge drop in CPU?

    Not to side track the discussion, but I wish Foscam would design a 3MP wireless camera that could do 1080p. I'd snatch up a few external IP66 ones if they did. Not sure how well 3MP cams work via wireless, maybe bandwidth is an issue, but it would be nice to simplify home installs.

    Another thing to consider is that it is capturing the light beam motion from the headlights and not just the car. My porch cam always turn on before someone comes up at night because th emotion detection light on the driveway turn on triggering the camera.
