    Hmm I'm seeing the number of Events increasing every second in the status console: It stops incrementing if I disable the ONVIF events in the Video section for the camera. I wonder why that event is triggering when the PIR sensor isn't being triggered.

    Min contrast of 20 is also probably a bit low. I'd turn on show objects and highlight as well while testing. You can also test run old video through to test your changed settings if you are using Direct to Disk.

    Adding a blank string called "camsync" and a dword called "sync" with a value of 0 to your Motion zones under the cameras. I just edited my imported backup to include these.

    Yes, you shouldn't use automatic updates. And keep waiting a bit longer before upgrading to BI5 if you haven't yet. There are still things that need to be ironed out.

    Looks like this is due to missing registry entries. I was able to manually fix my other profiles by adding an empty string called "camsync" and a dword called "sync" set to 0 on the relevant profiles for the cameras in the registry. Also reported the issue to Ken.

    Tried installing BI5 today and it lost all motion settings for all profiles other than Profile 1. All the cameras were set to "Sync with Profile 1"

    I decided to upgrade and did have an issue with Profile names/settings being reset after adjusting hardware acceleration. Additionally, my cameras all appear to have "Sync with Profile 1" enabled and lost their motion settings for other profiles.

    Currently, there isn't any way to see the upgrade notes other than from the window that checks for updates if you are already on version 5 as far as I can tell. I too, wish that a changelog would be published for each release.

    Were the issues with disappearing zones/profiles/etc fixed in the current version? Any major bugs in the current version? Thinking about going through with an upgrade now if most of the major issues are resolved.

    Try sorting by Threads in Task Manager on the Details tab. See if anything has an abnormally high thread count maybe.
